What Data We Collect
When you use the B737 Type Rating Tutor bot, we collect and store the following information:
- Telegram user ID — your unique numeric identifier on Telegram
- Username and first name — as provided by Telegram
- Quiz history — questions, answers, verdicts, and topic tags
- Usage statistics — session data, daily message counts, and performance metrics
- Subscription information — plan type, status, and billing period dates
We do not collect your phone number, email address, or any personal messages outside of your interactions with the bot.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Provide the tutoring service (generating questions, evaluating answers, citing sources)
- Track your study progress and display performance statistics
- Manage your subscription and enforce daily message quotas
- Improve the service quality (aggregate, anonymized usage patterns)
Payment Data
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card numbers or bank details. Stripe processes your payment data in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.
We only store your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID to link your payment to your Telegram account.
Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. This includes:
- Quiz history and statistics — kept for the lifetime of your account so you can track long-term progress
- Session data — maintained between bot restarts to preserve your study context
- Subscription records — kept for billing and account management purposes
If you request account deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our systems.
Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure — request permanent deletion of all your data
